The Google Read & Write pilot has begun. The initial workshop held on January 25th was a success. Over 50 participants attended the workshop via zoom from a site in each family of schools. Support at each site was provided by teachers Danny Leeming, Melanie Mobbs, Daniel Auger, Alastair McKay and Sofeya Devji.  Presenter Wendy Cockburn, Educational Assistant at Mount Sentinel School, did a wonderful job presenting both the beginner and intermediate workshops. The pilot has generated a lot of interest resulting in a second workshop which will be held on Feb 15th. A google classroom has been created for participants to share stories, ask questions and get answers. We are excited to get feedback from staff and students through surveys and focus groups in the new few weeks.
